Amber Celmer , Executive DIrector of HomeAid, which for 25 years has been the local building industry’s charity of choice in the region. HomeAid is one of the best-kept secrets in the Sacramento region’s fight against homelessness. Working with a variety of nonprofits, including St. Johns, Loaves and Fishes and WEAVE, HomeAid has helped build more than 100 housing renovation and construction projects in the region through the participation of BIA member builders and others making in-kind donations of labor and material.
