July 23, 2020
ROSEVILLE – HomeAid Sacramento today announced its receipt of a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation to support operating costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Wells Fargo is one of our closest partners and its generosity continues to serve as an inspiration for our ongoing work to address the issue of homelessness in the greater Sacramento region,” said Crisand Giles, Executive Director of HomeAid Sacramento. “From grants like this to the countless Wells Fargo employees who have volunteered on HomeAid projects, its contributions to our mission have been central to what we have achieved. We look forward to continuing this critical partnership.”
“The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the lives of millions of people and that is why, during these unprecedented times, we felt the need to reaffirm our commitment to organizations like HomeAid,” said Kären Woodruff, Vice President and Community Relations Associate Manager with Wells Fargo. “The unfortunate reality is that with high unemployment rates, homeless populations throughout California will continue to grow. Crisand and the HomeAid team are on the front lines of the fight to end homelessness, and we are committed to standing with them.”
